Municipal Departments

• Administration / Clerk's Department-The Administration / Clerk's Department is responsible for providing administrative and legislative support to Council, managing municipal records, coordinating Council and committee meetings, administering elections, processing Freedom of Information requests, and supporting communications and customer service functions throughout the Township.
• Treasury Department-The Treasury Department is responsible for the Township's financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, taxation, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, purchasing, asset management, and ensuring compliance with municipal financial regulations and policies.
• Public Works Department-The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of municipal infrastructure, including roads, bridges, fleet and equipment, winter maintenance, water and wastewater systems, and other public assets that support the daily needs of residents and businesses.
• Recreation Department-The Recreation Department oversees municipal recreation facilities, parks, playgrounds, community halls, programs, and events. The department works to promote healthy, active lifestyles and enhance the quality of life for residents through recreational opportunities and community engagement.
• Building, By-Law Enforcement and Planning-This department is responsible for building permit administration, inspections, property standards, municipal by-law enforcement, zoning inquiries, land use planning, and development review. The department helps ensure safe development and compliance with applicable legislation and municipal by-laws.
• Fire Department-The Fire Department provides fire protection services, emergency response, fire prevention education, inspections, and public safety initiatives. The department is committed to protecting lives, property, and the well-being of residents throughout the Township.
