Municipal Business Licensing Requirement

In June 2025, Council passed Business Licensing By-law No. 2025-30. All businesses operating within the Township of Black River-Matheson are required to obtain a Municipal Business License.

Licenses must be obtained by April 30, 2026 to avoid late fees, penalties, or enforcement action.

To continue operating after this date, businesses must:

• Complete the Business License Application
• Submit the application with the applicable fee
• Provide required supporting documentation
