I would like to briefly introduce myself.
I am extremely grateful to have lived in Matheson for over eleven years and to be a member of the Black River – Matheson area.
I've been married to Johanne, an RPN at Bingham Memorial Hospital, for about 40 years. Two of my three children have worked in this area, and one has attended school here.
I've been a volunteer with the Matheson Fire Department for over a decade, and I've greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with such wonderful volunteers.
Additionally, I have organised and led July 1st festivities at the Arena, as well as free community sport camps and free Christmas Community dinners (drive-thru last year) through the Evangel Family Church, where I have been fortunate to serve as Pastor.
Since we have had the Cenotaph, I have also had the opportunity of planning the Remembrance Day Service.
I hope to be a part of a team of individuals who truly desire to improve the quality of life in all communities represented.
I hope to be able to serve this Township in a way that people will appreciate our efforts, our attitudes, and our actions.
Thanks for this opportunity.
