Pine Rd Bridge Closure
Please note that effective immediately the Pine Rd Bridge is closed. This measure is being taken out of an abundance of caution for our residents. This affects anyone that uses the bridge and will affect 911 Addresses at 1696 Spruce and 2041 Pine.

NOTICE
SEACANS, SHIPPING CONTAINERS AND STORAGE TRAILERS
The Township of Black River-Matheson has received several inquiries about the placement of seacans on properties within the Township. Please be aware that Section 3.27 of our Zoning Bylaw contains information on the use of seacans.
Please be aware that in 2023, the Township will be taking measures to remove and curtail the use of seacans by all ratepayers and properties in the Township. This may mean fines and/or orders to remove the subject seacan(s).

Calcium Program
For the information of our residents, the Township of Black River-Matheson will begin the annual calcium application to our roads starting the week of June 19.

The Township of Black River – Matheson has been getting many calls about the status of the Pine Rd W Bridge.
Please note that this bridge has been determined to be unsafe to use. The bridge will be re-evaluated in the next few weeks.
The bridge is also located on an unmaintained road. A decision on the future of this bridge will not be made until the proper inspection has been completed.
In the interim, do not attempt to cross the bridge or remove the barriers.
